Claire Payne

The theme throughout Claire's art is a fascination with northwestern VT and the surrounding regions. She specializes in portraiture in various mediums including painting, drawing and photography. Her style is light and playful. As a commercial artist, much of her work goes under the radar, but she happily uses her talents visually convey the ideas of her customers. Commercial work includes graphics for social media, websites, screen printing as well as product photography and cartooning. As a fine artist, painter and photographer, her goal is to capture a moment in time to create a piece that makes you think and feel. Passionate about art through her formative years, post high school, she went on to Swain School of Design in New Bedford MA and has continued to express her passion for creativity ever since. Claire is currently a full-time commercial artist living in Georgia VT. where she has her studio in restored post and beam barn housing a retail space, a fine art studio and providing a meeting space for events for art enthusiasts.
